Directions

We are located on northeast side of Level 2 of BYU Library (Harold B. Lee Library) in the Religion/Family History Section.

Parking

There is Visitor Parking at the Museum of Art, located on the northeast side of campus. To get there take Cougar Boulevard (E 1230 N Street) heading east, until you come to the Visitor’s Parking Booth. A security guard will direct you to park on the right. The farther south you park, the shorter your walk will be. There is handicapped parking close to the entrance of the Museum of Art.

Walking to the Library

Once you have parked, take the sidewalk on the right side of the Museum of Art. Walk forward until you see the glass Atrium. Walk down the first flight of steps and turn right. Go through the glass doors with a sign above it marked “Religion/Family History – American Heritage”, and continue to the end of the hall.

Inside the Library

Once you have entered the BYU Library atrium entrance, take the stairs (or the elevator) down one level to Level 2. Turn right at the bottom of the stairs on Level 2 and follow the signs down the long hallway to Religion/Family History.

"BYU access" means that the item is accessible on BYU campus or remotely for logged-in BYU students and faculty. If labeled “BYU campus” then it is available anywhere on BYU campus, but not remotely. "BYU Library" indicates that you may only access the resource while physically at the BYU Library. (If you have a personal account with any of these sites, you can access them anywhere. If so, it is best to access them directly rather than using these links.)

*FamilySearch is accessible anywhere on the Internet, but many of the images (ca. 25-30%) require viewing at a FamilySearch family history center or affiliate library. The BYU Library has access to these images.
