Large Slides/Negatives Flatbed: Station #40 & 41

Technical Name: Epson 12,000XL Scanner

Maximum # slides (w/template): 25

Maximum size document: 12.2’’x17.2’’

Highest scanning resolution: 2400 DPI (optical); 4800 DPI (Micro Step)

Recommended resolution: Photographs/documents 600 DPI; slides/negatives 3200 DPI

This scanner has the ability to apply color restoration to slides when scanning. This makes the colors on the digital image reflect more of the true colors of the image, and removes the red or blue tint slides often have. Due to the editing abilities this scanner has, it will take about 1 min 20 seconds per slide at the recommended DPI. This scanner is recommended for any slides that need to be printed. This scanner can also scan negatives. You will need to bring a USB to save your scans.
